What is WriteWell?

WriteWell is the world's first online community bringing the benefits of writing for wellbeing to everyone. Launched in February 2021, it's an initiative from Professional Writing Academy.

Our approach

We set up WriteWell as a safe and accessible online place for people to explore writing for wellbeing in all its facets, and develop practical self-care tools to support their mental health. Research supporting the benefits of the WriteWell approach can be found here, but we have access to lots more.

How does it work?

For a monthly subscription fee, members get access to a thriving online learning environment and a variety of therapeutic writing exercises, courses and live workshops. Find out more about the writing activities here, or watch our video.
